The Makeover Team were at The Manor School in Oxfordshire on 22nd November. With a fairyland theme to work to. Three makeup artists applyed a variety of fairy accesories on 5 – 7 year olds, as well as fairy dust and magical makeup too!. The atmosphere was alive with clowns and comedy, bouncy castles, chocolate fountains and stunning balloon decorations to tie in with the theme.

On the 15th November the Antonia Makeover team were in Hertfordshire providing a delightful family with a princess party for their ten year old daughter Katie, along with 13 of her friends. The entertainment flowed, princesses were enjoying their princess makeovers, including pink and purple jewells and accesories with glitter whilst others created picture frames and had their nails painted. There was a real buzz in the atmosphere as all the excited princesses prepared for their glamour shoot which the Antonia Makeover Team would be responsible for editing. They then rehearsed for their grand finalie catwalk perfomance – it was like London Fashion Week in their back room – with the girls giving it plenty of attitude and striking diva like poses!! Each princess was then provided with an Antonia Makeover party princess bag to top it all off.

Antonia and her team went to London this weekend to provide a pamper hen makeover party for twelve girls. We provided a step by step makeover lesson and makeover on our chief hen and smokey eyes with glossy lips were most popular with the hens. It was such a relaxed and fun party – Kirsty and I enjoyed the atmosphere and as our testimont dictates below, they all did too!
Hi antonia,
Thank you so much for everything yesterday. You and Kirsty were both brilliant and all the girls loved it.We really appreciate you coming to the house and helping to make the party so special.
Love Carly

Antonia Makeovers provided a party for a fantastic family in County Durham at the weekend. We provided a dressing room service for the daughter who was turning ten and her best school friends. The girls had their makeup and hair styled whilst the birthday girl provided a wardrobe for her guests to transform them into X factor stars. They had a little rehearsal then went into their performances with a mix of musical karioke, acrobats, a comedian devil ritual – with the judging panel and presenter throwing in a fantastic script to imitate the show. It was all so entertaining with a room full of very talented 10 year olds!. The party didn’t stop there as the family were brave enough to have all the party stay for a video and sleep over!

With High School Musical 3 just coming out dreams of tripping the light fantastic, but Fameesque shows have a perennial appeal. We can’t quite believe that ITV’s Brit version Britannia High is going to hit the same heights, but we’re eagerly awaiting opening night

Lust of the momment…
With treatments at lash and brow bars becoming a standard grooming ritual, you have to pull out all the stops to make your eyes stand out these days. The wonderfully theatrical range of falsies designed by Viktor & Rolf for Shu Uemura should see to it. Inspired by the clown Pierrot, the Rombus lashes, adorned with diamond-shaped mirrors, will set you apart on the dancefloor!
Give the lips and cheeks a burst of freshness with Becca Coral lip and cheek creme in Tuberose £22, Beccacosmetics.com
Honey, Honey…..
Even the smallest drop in temperature can cause lips to chap. To heal them, simply apply a little manuka honey mixed with olive oil. Better sitll, get into the habit of applying regularly to prevent them from chapping altogether.
A perfect stay eyeline
A cotton bud dipped in Rose water applied to the lash line prior to an eyeliner application will help the eyeline to stay in place.
Quickliner for eyes £11 by Clinique Long-lasting, water resistant, smooth and easy to apply
The Cheat’s……
Make eyes look brighter by lining the inner part of the eye an lower lashline with a white pencil. Also, apply a dot just where your tear duct is and blend. For extra brightening, use the pencil to highlight just under the brow line but remember to blend here as well. E.L.F’s Eye widener is a soft eye pencil that goes on smoothly and blends easily, creating an illusion of bold, beautiful eyes that sparkle.

If you don’t want your pictures to look dated avoid high fashion colours and application techniques in favour of clean and classic makeup.
Application tips….
Apply foundation and concealer to a moisturized skin so that it blends
Warm fingertips to make blending easier
Apply concealer over foundation to prevent wiping it off
Apply blusher and highlighter to sculpt and define beautiful cheeks
For touch ups keep your lip colour and pressed powder with you through out the day.
By spending an extra 5 or 10 minutes preparing a base you may not need to touch up your makeup at all.
For an evening make up take your eyeshadow with you too, as you will need to define and accenturate the eyes a little more. Sweep it along your lash lines and blend it at the outer corner of the eyes
For makeup staying power use Laura Mercier’s Foundation Primer
To conceal scars, bruies or blemishes Antonia swears by Laura Mercier’s easy to blend Secret Camouflage.

Colours are bright and bold this season, either eyes or lips are accenturated and this seasons catwalks are awash with gothic creations, giving us a range of new looks to face up to this Autumn……….
TREND
BOLD LIPS ARE GO!
The bigger the pout the better this month!. For a perfect punchy pout, sketch a sheer red lipliner all the way around your mouth and plump up the middle with a lighter shade or gloss. You can wear a strong lip statement with a rich gold eye or simple groomed brows, busy brows and pale skin or for the rock’nroll, loads of black eyeliner.
There are plenty of strong lip shades that will work the trick. Choose either blood reds, (not brown red), that picks up your skin and or eyes, matte pink lipsticks or a matte red lipstick. Also Gloss addict? Dot Vaseline on top of your lipstick to make it glow, not shine.
If you press the lipstick in with your ring finder for a sheer and soft effect around the edges of the mouth.
SIXTIES
Be inspired by sixties oppulence – try your hand with some bright hues. Accentuate lips with pink or red and go for green or blue around the eyes
GOTHIC
Try smokey eyes or dark lips but avoid both at the same time
GLAMOUR
High light cheeks, lips and eyes with deep berry shades ranging from bright red to rust. Apply carefully, this look isn’t slapdash; think perfectly put-together Forties scree sirens!
NATURAL
Apply natural nude tones for a clean, chic look. Invest in a light, hydrating foundation and eyeshadows in soft browns with a slight shimmer

High School Musical Party
Hi Antonia
Just a quick note to say thank you very much for organising the High School Musical dancers. I was very impressed by your prompt, personal but professional service and by the fact that I got exactly what u said I would and this is so often not the case with other agents.
The girls were very good and everyone had a great time. I only regret not having booked them for 3 hrs instead!!
Look forward to working with you again in the future.
